Pesticide Controversy - Move from Movie “Corporate”?
Coke and Pepsi pesticide controversy is brewing again. These companies don’t seem to get it – why not disclose their lab reports publicly? Why report the samples taken in 2005? Why disparity between various markets they operate in?? And now with US trade commission making stellar comments about this controversy it now looks like a copy cat move from the movie “Corporate”. Don’t burst the cola bubble, US tells India
NEW DELHI: Just when a large US trade mission is coming to India, the US government has cautioned that the recent ban on the US cola majors by state governments could affect investment. The US undersecretary for International Trade, Franklin L Lavin, who is leading the mission that is slated to be one of the biggest delegations ever from the US, has said the ban is a setback for the Indian economy, according to agency reports.
