Hello there!

Hello World! I’m back to blogging world again!:) . Sorry for being away for so long. I’m admin of my site and I lost the damn password. It took a while and diggging lot of archive to figure out the correct user-id and e-mail I used during registration for “Forget Password” feature to reset my password. So much for security I guess! I would love to do away remembering my password. My idea, a password system like the following.

Biometric USB key or smartcard based system with integrated PKI certificate management and
password management software which would log me into my favourite websites.
OR something like InfoCard that’s a wallet like service in upcoming Windows Vista. Checkout what Bill Gates has to say about passwords!
Hah! You must be wondering what happened to me, Manav the open source and Java guy pointing all of us to Bill Gates views & Microsoft technologies! Well, I must confess that there has been change of heart. I now have moved to India from US east coast and joined Microsoft India as Program Manager. I’m now working with Visual Studio for Devices team. VSD is a great tool for building software for Windows Mobile devices. You should check me out at Microsoft Mobile developer conference (MEDC) in Bangalore during first week of April. I’ll post more details regarding the conference, dates and the interesting developer sessions. Until then!

    bye bye!
